1. About Us

The Jeweler's Journal (TJJ) is a personal fine jewelry business based in the UAE, operating under a valid Dubai trade license. By using our website or contacting us through any channel, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services

TJJ offers three services:

  • Curated edit — personally sourced fine jewelry pieces available for purchase by inquiry

  • Custom orders — bespoke jewelry pieces made to order through trusted jewelers

  • Resale — consignment of pre-owned fine jewelry on your behalf

All transactions are inquiry-based. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer or guaranteed availability until confirmed in writing by TJJ.

3. Purchases & Payments

All prices are discussed and confirmed directly with the client. Payment terms are communicated at the time of purchase. TJJ reserves the right to cancel any order if payment is not received within the agreed timeframe.

All sales are final unless the piece delivered is materially different from what was agreed in writing.

4. Custom Orders

Custom orders require a deposit before work begins. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of your inquiry. Deposits are non-refundable once production has commenced. Completion timelines are estimates and may vary depending on the jeweler and materials involved.

5. Resale

By submitting a piece for resale through TJJ, you confirm that:

  • You are the rightful owner of the piece

  • The piece is accurately described and free of any legal disputes or claims

  • You agree to TJJ's commission of 15% of the final sale price, with a minimum fee of 400 AED

  • You will receive the remaining balance once the piece is sold and payment is cleared

TJJ reserves the right to decline any submission that does not meet our curation standards. Pieces not accepted will be communicated to you promptly. TJJ is not responsible for any loss or damage to pieces not in our physical possession.

6. Become a Partner

Jewelers and designers who express interest in partnering with TJJ do so on a case-by-case basis. Submitting your details does not guarantee a partnership. All terms of any partnership will be agreed separately in writing.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including the TJJ name, logo, logotype, photography, and written copy — is the property of The Jeweler's Journal. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of it without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

TJJ is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or our services. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the value of the transaction in question.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the UAE courts.
